Left click on floor: go there
Left click + drag: move avatar in direction of cursor
Left click on handle (bottom center): show/hide the Action Strip

Up cursor key or W: step forward
Down cursor key or S: walk backwards
Left and right cursor keys or A & D: turn

P key: save screenshot in C:\temp (CTRL+P: without interface)
H key: hop (when standing still) or jump (when running)

The game can also be controlled with a Joystick. Control instructions are available in the Options screen. You can access the Options screen by clicking the "O" button on the lower left hand side of the screen or by pressing the ESC key. You can exit the screensaver by selecting the "X" button in the lower right hand side of the screen or by choosing Quit from the Options screen.
Click the short bar in the center at the bottom of the screen to make the buttons visible.

TIPS

You can acquire magic spells by
-eating the pine cone that falls out of a pine tree after rubbing against it (antlers spell)
-eating from the mushrooms on the side of trees (mask spell)
-laying down next to a sleeping deer for a while (skin spell)
-letting your deer sleep in a mushroom circle (body spell)
Which incarnation of the spell will appear, cannot be predicted.
The effect of spells cast on players who are not logged in, is only temporary.
Players who use old clients (grey deer with broken antlers) are immune to magic.
You can only carry one spell at a time.

To remove spells cast on you, open your Spells submenu in the actionstrip and select the spell you want to remove. This will remove the latest spell in that category and thus works as an undo feature that allows you to go back in time. To remove all the spells at once, go and take a swim in the pond.


KNOWN ISSUES
------------
-Switching from full screen mode to windowed mode may cause the application to freeze. You can close it with ALT+F4. When you re-open it, it will run in a window.
-Using ALT-TAB to switch to other applications does not work very well and may cause the screensaver to crash when running it fullscreen.
-When the cute preview in Display Properties/Screen Saver/Settings is enabled, changing the Wait time in Display Properties/Screen Saver may prevent Windows from being able to show the Display Properties window again. A system restart solves this problem.
-Badly calibrated joysticks not in use can prevent input from mouse or keyboard. Disable the joystick in Options/Control.
-Sometimes the screen freezes in a pretty stripy pattern while the sound and interaction still function. ALT+F4 closes the application.
